My Boyle Lineage


Most of the information concerning Patrick Boyle and Catharine O'Hara and the births, marriages and deaths of their children has been extracted from the U.S. Census records of Philadelphia Pa. for the years 1870 thru 1920.  Prior years provided no information as yet.

Some important information was provided by Rosemarie Hall, a decendant of George Boles and Elizabeth Boyle. Research into other records is ongoing.
PATRICK BOYLE was born between 1833 and 1836 and was born in Ireland of Irish parents, based on the 1870 and 1880 census records. He was married to Catharine O'Hara, date unknown.  They had nine children according to the 1910 census, four of whom were deceased at that time and only the remaining six are known.  Patrick apparently died between the 1880 and 1900 census, when Catharine was listed as a widow.

Catharine was born between 1833 and 1840 in Ireland of Irish parents and immigrated to the U.S in 1850, based on the 1860 thru 1910 census records. She was never naturalized.  She apparently died between the 1910 and 1920 census.
